Job Title: Mammography Technologist II
Location: Plantation, FL 33324
Schedule: 07:30A-4P
Pay Range: $33.58 - $43.65 per hour (Based on experience)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Mammography Technologist II to join our imaging team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of high-quality mammographic procedures on both women and men in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This role also includes performing bone densitometry studies and actively participating in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms as per physician orders and protocol

Conduct bone densitometry (DEXA) exams

Ensure optimal image quality while adhering to radiation safety regulations

Maintain proper documentation and patient records in the imaging system

Provide exceptional patient care and promote a comfortable, respectful environment

Participate in continuous quality improvement and departmental safety practices

Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program (accredited by the AMA Council on Education)

Licenses & Certifications (Required):

ARRT Registered Technologist – Radiography

ARRT Registered Technologist – Mammography

Certified Radiologic Technologist (State License)

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Additional Requirements:

Proven experience in mammography, with strong patient care and technical skills

Detail-oriented with commitment to quality standards and patient safety
