REQUIREMENT:
Senior Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto & Cisco Certified)
Annapolis, MD (Hybrid)---Locals Only
Long Term Contract
Need Overall 12+Years of experience
3 References from the recent projects is must.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in an IT-related field.
• Active Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Security

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in an IT-related field.
• 10 years of experience in IT networking & network security.
• Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) Certification from Palo Alto Networks
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise Infrastructure or Security
• 5+ years with Palo Alto NGFW, IDP, content filtering, VPNs, DLP, TLS/SSL.
• 4+ years with Cisco switching, routing, and wireless.
• 3+ years with A10 reverse proxies/load balancing.
• 2+ years with NAC: Cisco ISE, Free Radius, ACLs.

General experience in:

• Microsoft MFA, 802.1x, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
• Microsegmentation, PKI, Nessus, NMAP
• Wireshark, Panorama, SolarWinds
• Windows/Unix/Linux OS"

Strong ability to:

• Work independently and mentor juniors
• Communicate/present effectively
• Create technical documentation (diagrams, designs, plans)"

Specific skills:

• Experience with Palo Alto next-gen firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention, content filtering
• Cisco switching, routing, wireless
• A10 load balancers, NAC (ISE, FreeRadius)
• Microsoft MFA, cloud networking, 802.1x, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
• Nessus, Wireshark, Panorama, SolarWinds
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, mentoring, and communication skills.
