Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Saint Louis, MO. This is a crucial role for a local candidate, requiring 5 days of onsite presence. As an SME, you will provide specialized knowledge and expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM applications, playing a pivotal role in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of our Oracle SCM modules.
Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
- Expert Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle SCM modules, including but not limited to Inventory Management, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Production Scheduling.
- Implementation Support: Assist with the full lifecycle implementation, configuration, and customization of Oracle SCM modules to align with business requirements.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex issues related to Oracle SCM applications efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to other team members, fostering a deeper understanding of Oracle SCM best practices and functionalities.
- Documentation: Create and maintain thorough and accurate documentation for Oracle SCM processes, procedures, configurations, and solutions.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Analysis: Collect and analyze detailed business requirements for SCM processes and modules.
- Conduct impact analysis of design decisions on Wave 1 and subsequent project phases.
- Bridge the gap between design decisions in Demand Planning Projects and Wave 2 Oracle Fusion Implementation.
- Design and Development: Assist in designing, developing, and testing robust solutions for Oracle SCM/SCP.
- Review and provide critical inputs to track leaders on Configuration Workbooks, Functional Designs, and Requirement Documentation.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure Oracle SCM modules to meet specific business needs and optimize system performance.
- Data Management: Manage and maintain SCM data, including master data, transactional data, and report generation, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Integration: Manage and oversee integrations between Oracle SCM and other critical systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize Oracle SCM performance and ensure efficient resource utilization to maximize system effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business users, IT personnel, and other stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Project Deliverables & Reporting: Prepare and review checklists for project deliverable documents.
- Review JIRA (RAID logs and Requirements) and provide weekly summaries of progress to the SCM PMO.
- Provide weekly reports on impact analysis to the SCM PMO.
- Testing & Training: Review and prepare test cases, test data, and execute testing procedures.
- Review training material, prepare additional content if needed, and assist in onsite training delivery.
- Review and plan for regression testing for processes, solutions, integrations, and reports overlapping between Wave 1 and Wave 2, coordinating with the SCM PMO, AMS, and Infosys Team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion SCM Subject Matter Expert.
- In-depth functional and technical knowledge of various Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules.
- Strong understanding of SCM business processes.
- Experience with full lifecycle Oracle SCM implementations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a local candidate and able to work onsite 5 days a week in Saint Louis, MO.
