Project Manager- Continuous Improvement United States ● Virtual Req #869 Wednesday, May 28, 2025 **GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION** As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing complex projects within our organization. You support growth and standardization efforts within the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure that projects are aligned with strategic objectives, executed efficiently, and deliver measurable value. Your duties will include developing and implementing project management methodologies, mentoring junior project managers, managing project budgets and timelines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also play a key role in identifying and mitigating risks, resolving conflicts, and ensuring successful project outcomes. This position can be remote with some travel to our facilities. Prefer candidate to be located in NJ or Dallas area. **MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Develop and execute comprehensive program management plans, aligning projects with overall organizational goals + Identify and manage interdependencies and dependencies across multiple projects within a program + Monitor and report on program progress, ensuring timely and accurate communication to stakeholders + Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment within the program team + Manage program budgets, resources, and risks + Manage projects or portions of complex projects, such as strategic initiatives, systems implementations, and new/pilot programs + Lead high exposure projects including those involving Executive/Senior leadership and/or large, high-touch clients + Operate and execute on mid to large scale strategic planning + Foster and build relationships with department heads, subcontractors, and suppliers + Manage the full project life cycle from initiation and scoping through post-implementation review + Direct open and consistent communication between project team, senior management, and leadership + Quantitatively plan and organize project team's capacity + Work with appropriate vendors to ensure dependent tasks are managed and completed on time + Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team + Understand the intended outcomes of the project and ensure the outcomes are realistic and measurable + Ensure clear communication among everyone involved in the project + Ensure individuals within a project are self-organizing and do not rely on a command-and-control style + As part of the self-organizing team, the project manager will naturally be aware of how the team has self-organized and how they intend to complete the work + Provide mentorship for PM Is and new hires of a lesser experience **QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB** **Required Skills and Experience** + Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or other related field or comparable experience working in the field + PM certification such as PMP or CSM and 5+ years managing projects, or in lieu of certification, 7+ years managing complex, large scale projects + Proven experience within operations or supply chain + Demonstrated successful leadership of all size projects + Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills + Build respectful, positive, and powerful relationships with everyone and within the team + Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with project team as well as a variety of outside vendors, and internal and external customers + Influence team accountability as appropriate + Navigate a project thru a matrix organization for successful outcome + Fluency with all MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint + Travel as needed + Must have experience working in manufacturing, operations, and production environment **Preferred Skills and Experience** + Lean Six Sigma Certification + Experience using Microsoft Project or similar management software + Experience working in the manufacturing, food production, or healthcare industry We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. **Other details** + Job Family*Corporate + Job FunctionManager + Pay TypeSalary + United States + Virtual <
