Overview
The Cancer Care Equity Program (CCEP), which develops programs and interventions to advance clinical access and equity at DFCI and in the surrounding community, is seeking a Research Scientist with experience in Implementation Science. The Research Scientist would report to Dr. Lathan, who is Chief Clinical Access and Equity Officer (CCAEO) and Medical Director of the Cancer Care Equity Program (CCEP). The Research Scientist will be responsible for making contributions enhancing productivity of the CCEP through providing facilitative and scientific operational support to the program. Under the direction of Dr. Lathan, the research scientist will assist in the evaluation of collected data, write manuscripts, and collaborate on grant applications focusing on cancer equity focused interventions. They will work closely with the CCEP leadership team, which includes the Administrative Director and Nursing Director of CCEP and will oversee the scientific direction of CCEP’s research team. The Research Scientist is also expected to work in a matrixed fashion with the Chief Clinical Access and Equity Officer’s (CCAEO) leadership team to evaluate the effectiveness of CCEP interventions and disseminate the results beyond the walls of DFCI to influence research and policy.
